Good reading lately

I have read some good articles lately. One about cultural appropriation and one about multiple modes of perception. Both were very good and have been of help to some ideas I have been wrestling with. I have studied various spiritual paths before but none connected with me fully. This is because they were for a different people of a different time. I need to find my own way of connecting with life and make a path that is about my own relationships to what I find. I basically knew this but it has been made real clear lately. I also must not devalue the different methods of perception. Imagination is one such method that I can have a hard time accepting. I can see it being a great tool if I can just trust it.
